Hi Binisha, why did you decide to join Enterprise?
I loved everything about university and I wanted to work for a company that offered me similar opportunities. I wanted the chance to meet loads of great people and learn something new every day. I was only at university for three years and I achieved so much in that short space of time. I chose a career with Enterprise because I thought it would offer me similar scope for development. Luckily, I was right.
Since I started, I’ve been promoted three times. I joined as a Management Trainee and within 10 months, I was promoted to a Management Assistant. I then moved on to become an Assistant Manager. A year later, I took on my current role as Branch Manager. It won’t be long before I’m sitting in the Area Manager’s chair.
I can’t believe I’m only 25 years’ old and I’m already a manager. Most of my friends are still in the same position, and on the same money, as when they left university.
I don’t mean to brag. I’m just proud of what I’ve achieved. This career has made me realise what I’m capable of and I get a real buzz out of exceeding my own expectations.
When I look back on my career at Enterprise, I feel the same way as when I look back on my time at university. I have some fantastic memories of the people I’ve met. And the best part is, the fun doesn’t have to end. I’m here for the long-term and if I put the work in, there’ll be no limit to what I can achieve.
After all, I’ve got a great team behind me. Last month, our branch had the highest customer service levels in London and the South East. So it just goes to show, you can provide a professional service and still have fun.
