About us

Let's start with the numbers

10 years of Enterprise UK

At Enterprise, we're not ashamed of our success - we've worked very hard for it. We've grown into the largest car rental company in North America, arguably the world. With an annual turnover of $9 billion, over 879,000 vehicles in our rental and leasing fleet, and over 64,500 employees with over 3,400 in the U.K and over 190 in Ireland at over 6,900 locations worldwide.

But we do understand that bigger doesn't always mean better. There can be a downside to success, and it's usually the employees who carry the burden. But not here. So if you're terrified about joining one of those companies full of clones and hierarchies that kill fresh ideas and stamp out new ways of working, then have no fear, you'll be safe with us.

The difference is in the details

We've always believed in empowering our people to make the decisions that will affect their work and their career. This philosophy, along with our unyielding commitment to customers, has made Enterprise a genuine success story and a truly unique place to work.

Just imagine - all the opportunities of a huge, internationally successful car rental company, but with a personal, entrepreneurial approach that lets individuals stand out. Our secret lies in the fact that we're divided up into thousands of smaller, local businesses. So when you join us, you'll be learning how to run the business yourself. And how many businesses with a $9 billion turnover can say that?

Where do we go from here?

Before you can decide whether Enterprise is right for you, we think you should take a few minutes to have a look around and find out a little more about us. This part of our website is all about who we are, how we got here and where we're going. After all, you could be the one to help us get there.
