Hi Christian, why did you decided to join Enterprise?
I'm the type of person that knows my strengths and weaknesses. I'm sales orientated and quite outgoing. I didn't know what I wanted to do when I left university, but I knew that I wanted to utilise these skills. So, you can imagine how pleased I was when I found out about Enterprise and their graduate scheme.
My first experience of Enterprise was as a customer. The friendliness and professionalism of their staff really impressed me. The more I found out about the company, the more enthusiastic I became. I really identified with their mission statement and their values.
Taking care of the customer is always our first priority. As a business strategy, I think this works. A lot of our regular customers are friends, and the fact that we've built relationships with them means that they don't really shop around. We're the first people they come to when they need to hire a vehicle.
Obviously, not every interaction with a customer is an easy ride. Excuse the pun. My job's not easy, but it would be boring if it was. Besides, I like a challenge. And I find that trying to satisfy a 'difficult' customer can often result in the most rewarding outcome. I may seem crazy, but my determination has paid off. I've gone from Management Assistant to Area Manager in just over three years.
